Any experiences of an early scan with a slow HB?

I went for an early NHS scan yesterday and the sonographer confirmed the location etc of the pregnancy was fine but baby was measuring around 6+2/3 with a slow fetal heart rate. I’m supposed to be 7 weeks today/tomorrow.

I have been through a lot pregnancy wise but never been told about a slow HB so it was quite a shock. They didn’t tell me BPM so I’m unsure just ‘how’ slow but it wasn’t racing like I have seen in my other pregnancies.

I’ve to go back next week for a follow up scan but I’m just wondering if anyone has experience of this & what the outcome was?

It’ll be a long week ahead, really down about it

I had an early scan around 6 weeks with my current pregnancy and the sonographer said the heartbeat was slow but was probably due to it still being quite early. I went back at 8 weeks and heart beat was normal and now 25 weeks pregnant :) good luck hope it all goes ok! X

Last year I had an early scan due to bleeding at 6 weeks, they first told me it was a blighted ovum, a week later there was a tiny foetus with the very start of a heart flickering and measuring 10 days behind (my dates were correct and I stood by this). By the time of my 12 week scan everything had caught up and he’s now a huge healthy 7 month old

edited to say it was an awful wait. Sending you hugs
