2nd pregnancy - movement?

Hi there

Currently pregnant with my 2nd and anterior placenta (again!). I know everyone's different but when did you all feel movement with your 2nd? I feel like I've felt a few flutters over the last 2 weeks but it's hard to ever know for sure if it's just wind or something like that. I know with anteriors you can feel it a bit later but I swear with my first I felt flutters at 16 weeks-ish.

Feeling the same way. Don't think I've an anterior placenta (haven't been told anyway) but 18+5 and feeling nothing yet. I was nearly certain I was feeling movement by now in first pregnancy! The big gap between 12 weeks and anomaly scan not helping!!

Congrats, girl! Can't lie I had a private scan myself to find out the gender only last week. I'm just trying to resist the urge to keep booking them because they only settle your mind short-term, I went a bit mad with my first, booking them every other week lol! It was only at my private scan she spotted my placenta was anterior.

What did you have in your last pregnancy? I had anterior then too but was sure I felt movement by this stage.

I had anterior placenta for my first and third - both times felt movement around 20weeks.

My second, placenta was at the back and I felt movement from 16 weeks....so in my experience it does make a difference!

Thanks so much - when you say movement at 20 weeks, was that the kicks or the flutters?

I suppose I mean the first feelings of movement where I thought 'oh that must be the baby!' so flutters (or bubbles as the felt to me) rather than obvious kicking....which I'm getting now every day at 27 weeks!

Thanks so much - can't wait for the definite kicks. I dont think it helps my anxiety that I pretty much still have 0 bump at 16 weeks :(
