Flying at 28 weeks pregnant

Hi, looking for some advice on flying when pregnant. I will be going on holiday at 28 weeks pregnant for 2 weeks. Currently 27 weeks pregnant and had a midwife appointment today. I asked for a fit to fly note which she said no one does anymore. I’m flying with jet2 and their policy claims you need a fit to fly note when 27 weeks+. Has anyone got any experience on whether this is the case? Do the airline staff actually check? I’m worried I’m not going to be let on the plane!

I just flew with easyJet and it said no note is needed for straightforward pregnancies but I got one anyway. My midwife did one no problem. They didn’t ask but I flew at 20 weeks with Singapore airlines and they did ask (I didn’t think I had a big bump 😂) but it was ok because I was <28 week. If the airline specifically says I’d definitely call and ask again.

If you’re worried you could throw on a sweater and say you’re 24 weeks? I’m a midwife and I haven’t filled out one of these forms in years. Nor did I ever get them filled out with my own pregnancies.

I wouldn’t worry just wear a big shirt or something. They get you on those planes so fast no one will notice
