What were your earliest pregnancy symptoms before a positive test?

I'm curious to hear other people's experiences. Did you notice any symptoms before getting a positive pregnancy test, and what were they?

I offered to do the driving on NYE…totally out of character for me 😂 Sore boobs and extreme fatigue.

Sore boobs, needing to pee a lot and feeling sick at the smell of things I usually liked.

Thrush. All three times

My boobs felt like they were about to explode off my chest and I was only 1 day late for my period but did a test that day and I was pregnant!

I could smell a cup of coffee from across the room.

Lower gut ache, I'm guessing implantation. My dad said my mum had the same with both pregnancies (me and Dbro), and I should take a test. Ta-da, I barely peed on it when it lit up like Christmas!

Nose bleed

In all 4 pregnancies I had a sore throat in the days leading up to to testing.

Increased discharge and mild twinges lighter than normal period cramps!

Very heightened sense of smell. My period was due in 2 days and I was cooking something I often cooked and thought the smell was disgusting. (I didn’t normally think that.). Positive test the following morning.

I was hot and my wee smelled like smoked hotdogs.

Going to the loo more- both times 😂

I could smell and taste the metal of the pans I was using for cooking. And a raging thirst.

I had what I thought was period pains a week early but were actually implementation pains and sore boobs which I never get pre period so thought something could be going on but was still shocked when I saw the positive line! (In a good way) x

Utter exhaustion.

Implantation bleed, every time. With my first I didn't know what it was and it assumed it was my period that never kicked in. Sore gums. Vivid dreams.

I was absolutely shattered, kept napping a lot and had some cramps that felt like PMS. Might have had sore boobs at that point too? I found out at 11 days post ovulation

Finished a glass of wine and as I went to drink the second, my brain just went “nope”.
Tested the next day, positive before I’d even finished peeing on the stick.

Stronger sense of smell. I commented on a colleagues perfume and she was confused as she wears it every day.

Crying at the TV, films, etc, at things that wouldn’t generally make me so emotional. Sore breasts too.

First: drank half a small glass of wine and felt awful nausea.

Second: “something feels off” is the thought I had…I can’t pinpoint what exactly because it was such a vague feeling. Slightly sore breasts, a slightly different emotional state. It was 4 days before my period was even due and I tested positive.

Very painful swollen boob's.. back in 1984.. had to have my pregnancy test done at the family planning clinic only after 2 missed periods.

Sore boobs and so bloated! I had to bring out my stretchy leggings as I couldn’t bear the waistband on my normal ones.

I woke up in the night and thought ‘I am pregnant.’ Even though we hadn’t been trying. Weird

this was before my period was due

I fainted! In the front garden, talking to a neighbour! When I told her Id found out I was expecting, she never spoke to me again
(she was desperate to conceive)
Also had the metallic taste and ludicrous boobs. I permanently needed to wee.
