I’m 32 and trying to conceive after coming off Depo. My last injection was due in September 2025, and I’ve had no periods or spotting at all since then.
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve had the strongest ovulation signs I’ve seen since stopping Depo: several days of EWCM, higher LH readings than usual (normally around 0.1, this time up to 0.47), pelvic cramping/heaviness, and then a change to creamy/drier cm. My LH has since dropped back down to baseline.
I’ve also been feeling bloated, a bit nauseous, and generally “off”. I took a pregnancy test and thought I could maybe see the faintest hint of a line, but another test looks negative/very unclear, so I’m planning to retest in a few days.
Has anyone had a similar experience recovering from Depo? Did you have ovulation symptoms and LH rises before your periods actually returned? And has anyone had what seemed like a promising cycle after Depo that either led to pregnancy or eventually to a period?
I’m feeling a bit stuck in limbo because I don’t have regular cycles to judge anything by.
im testing everything like a crazy lady as I just don’t have a cut off point with a period and starting again I’m clutching at straws with questionable tests all the time 😩
