Hi, Its me again. Im 12 weeks, so grateful time is going. Anyone who has experienced a stillbirth or loss can maybe tell me if what im feeling is normal. Im not so worried about the pregnancy. Im worried im not going to make it, maybe ill die. Please dont judge me.

I had a stillbirth with triplets, i nearly died from sepsis & blood loss. Kindly your being silly, it’s very rare complications happen these days, and only in complicated cases like mine was. Long as you have proper professional medical care there’s nothing to fear. Your in good hands. Maybe speak to a therapist or your midwife.

im really sorry to hear that. Let me clarify, I had a stillborn 7 months ago and im newly pregnant again. Im wondering if this trauma may maifest itself in making me feel like i will die young. Again, that sounds really hrrible what you went through.

I’m sorry for your loss op.
It’s very normal to feel anxious during pregnancy, particularly after a loss, but not to this degree.
It’s absolutely nothing to be ashamed of though. Please speak to your midwife about it, she will absolutely understand and be able to help.

I’m really sorry to hear your story. I can imagine that what you’re feeling is very normal. I feel I have developed health anxiety specific to maternal care following miscarriages. I consulted Petals for my last pregnancy to avail of counselling in relation to anxiety around a new pregnancy.

I know its normal i just need to hear it from other people.
