Tips to Get Pregnant

Buy a 100 pack of ovulation sticks.
Test yourself everyday - put stick in a cup of urine.
The normal range for ovulation is day 10-20. Many women may ovulate outside that range. So don’t just have sex in the middle of your period cycle.
When you ovulate, have sex twice a day (if you can!).
Lie with your legs up after sex for 20-30mins.
My partner made me eat a date every day too but I don’t think that was necessary!
I had twins (first children) at 39 and lots of mothers at toddler group had their first child at 40 or older.
If you get periods, you can get pregnant. :)
Enjoy!

I would bin the ovulation sticks. I never got a positive with them but did conceive. If I’d have taken my lead from the sticks I would have been way out.

Having had 4 pregnancies my only advice would be to have lots of sex. We did it every day. Got pregnant the first month with all of them by doing that.

Sex twice a day is overkill and if your partner has at all ropey sperm (as DH did) is actually counter productive. Once every few days over a wider time frame better than loads in a shorter time frame.
Ovulation/ charting I found hopeless.
The leg thing is also pointless.

I spent about 2 and a half years ttc between my two kids so tried lots of things!

There’s no evidence that lying with your legs in the air does anything at all and you definitely don’t need to have sex twice a day, that can actually be worse for sperm quality.

We had sex 2 or 3 times a week for about 6 weeks, twice. Got pg by then at 37 and 40. I appreciate that we were fortunate, but no sticks, legs in air, counting or pillows.
