I’m 35+3 and had two episodes of reduced movements, last I was in was Friday and had maybe 5 movements over the hour on the ctg, they said heart rate looked fine and did a bedside scan said they can she she was moving so we’re happy, I said they still ain’t the same as usual though they said I’d get a call for more monitoring and another scan but still waiting guessing till Monday, but movements still ain’t the same she’s really quiet will move but no where near as much it’s softer and a lot less movements , feel fobbed off when I go up so it’s really putting me off going again today but I will go, what can be done here? As along side the reduced movements I’ve been in for myself not feeling good weak, dizzy, light headed ext but bloods come back fine, would they induce? As something feels off she’s not moving and I don’t feel good but keep saying it looks fine to them and it’s causing me so much stress barely slept and contstanly worrying

If all looks good with both you & baby on monitoring then they won’t induce at 35 weeks no.

They may offer daily monitoring though.

That’s what the said I would get more and an extra scan to wait on a phone call but still no call and it’s now Sunday, going back in today, I wouldn’t want induced yet as it’s to early

Please go back in for monitoring. My girl stopped all movement, everything looked amazing on the ctg, scan showed her looking fab. I said I wasn’t comfortable going home, they reluctantly let me stay in. Within 2 days decels started and she was born extremely premature, they were actually going to send me home the morning she was born and I’d asked for one more hour of monitoring, I dread to think what would have happened if I hadn’t persisted.

Ctg showed heart rate good and they said the movements look good but it’s not the normal for me she’s usually really active, waiting on a senior doctor coming round to see me just now
