Is this a positive? Taken with first morning urine, first cycle after Mirena was removed on 29th April. No idea of my dates as I haven’t had a true period yet, only a withdrawal bleed a few days after Mirena taken out. I had some pains and a bit of very light spotting between 1-3 June but the test was totally negative with evening urine on 3rd June but now there appears to be a faint positive this morning. Taken on a FRER with first morning urine, the line appeared fairly quickly and definitely within the 3 minute window. I’m just a bit thrown as my previous pregnancies showed up as much darker line but then I was much more clear about my dates. What does everyone think?

Sadly my psychic powers are dwindling with age - and despite still having great ‘line-eyes’ , I will definitely need a photo to have a chance of a guess 😬

The line looks pink and can be seen from all
angles but it’s not the same dark pink as the test line

are false positive a thing? I was so convinced it would be negative, I’m also having a bit of brown discharge (sorry tmi). I just never thought at 40, I’d be able to conceive so quickly after the Mirena. My second child took nearly a year so I was preparing for a long wait

Also I had a completely negative FRER on Wednesday

Do you think the brown discharge and the fact the line is faint means it won’t stick?

No. You can’t be a little bit pregnant. The line is light because the hormone that is detected in the test was weak. Doesn’t mean the pregnancy is ‘weak ‘ . Perhaps you didn’t get much wee on the stick. Have you drunk lots of tea /water and diluted your wee ? Just do another tomorrow. Or in a few days. To reassure.

No hadn’t drank anything and it was first week of the day. But yes I will take another test in a day or so. Just don’t want to get my hopes up. Especially with the spotting. Maybe I’m just earlier than I thought as I tested negative on a FRER on Wednesday evening
