C-section scar niche in pregnancy and impact on birth plan

Hi,

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant. I was told at my 16 week appointment with the consultant that in a previous scan a niche in my c section scar was found.

Has anyone experienced anything like this during pregnancy? I am worried about labour and while my consultant initially was happy for me to have a vbac she is now reconsidering another possible c section.

Has anyone experienced this and how did your birth plan and labour go?

Hi,
I just saw your topic. I've had 2 emergency C sections. After the 1st one I got a big niche. My consultant wasn't concerned and I went into labour at 40 weeks with my second baby. Unfortunately, due to baby being in distress I had another c section.
No issues while pregnant.
