Private scans?

How many is too many. I had a scan at EPU at 6+3. Private scan around 10+4. Hospital dating scan at 13 weeks. Then we have a gender scan booked in on the 20th. Is it too much to book another private one this Saturday to break the wait up a bit?

My hospital scan was a week ago now but it feels like it was AGES ago. I get really anxious early on before the kicks start being strong enough to feel.

But then the other problem is I feel like too many scans will harm the baby so then I feel like I'll be risking it and then I end up in an internal battle with myself of do I, don't I 😫🤣

Do it if it will make the wait easier! I’ve had weekly scans so far due to previous losses and I’m 10 weeks, it won’t harm the baby!

It won't harm baby but you have had 3 scans including your dating scan a week ago? And you're already anxious enough to feel you need another within this week? How long are they actually reassuring you for? I think you'd be better placed getting some anxiety support.

I think extra scan are totally fine but can you space them a little further apart? I had a private one at 8 weeks, nhs one at 12 weeks, having another at 16 weeks, then nhs one at 20 weeks. 4 weeks between each seems a good length of time and hoping I'll have more consistent movement by 20 weeks then can stop with the scans.
