SO exhausted at 34 weeks

This pregnancy is hitting me like a train. It's my 3rd and I'm 39, so I understand people will say/think it's not surprising but honestly compared to previous pregnancies I don't feel like I have any excuse for this level of exhaustion. The other symptoms (sick, dizzy, food aversions etc) have finally abated but been replaced with wanting to sleep 24/7.

With #1 I was travelling abroad and domestically with work and regularly pulling 18 hour days right up until 37/38 weeks, then hosted family for the holidays and spent until the 42nd week of pregnancy decorating my house and taking long walks with the dog. With #2 I worked 4 days a week and had a 2 year old to run around after the rest of the time. I do remember being tired/stealing naps where I could, but not unable to keep my eyes open, last legs tired.

Now my others are out of the house Monday-Friday, while I wfh 16 hours a week. Iron levels are fine, am going to bed early, eating well, resting/napping where I can, trying to motivate myself to exercise at least once a week as well as walking nearly every day, keeping hydrated....It doesn't seem to matter, I'm knackered. Trying to forget that based on my last two I probably still have a good eight weeks to go 😭

When I was pregnant with my second I started a “34 weeks and so tired” thread 😭 now I am 30 weeks with my third and absolutely shattered! Solidarity! I am 38 so yes, our age probably isn’t helping. I hope you don’t have too much longer left!
