Foley ballon induction vbac2 ??

has anyone had the foley balloon for induction vbac2 ?? Just looking to read up on others experiences and stories. I’ve been discussing options and have always delivered by 37 weeks so maybe 37 week induction or it would be another section. I’m just not sure I want to experience another section unless the baby needs it.
TIA x

Do you have to deliver by 37 weeks?

Jellyofftheplate · 31/05/2026 21:08

Yep, absolutely depends on why you're delivering so early.

@PinkPonyClubb this is pregnancy n4 and all have experienced static growth by 35-36 weeks so all have been born by 37 weeks. No issues all healthy no nicu etc . So I guess they are just trying to get a plan . I guess if the 34 week scan is ok then they will push til 38 weeks.

Awww, congratulations! So exciting having a big family. I’ve been lucky mine have all been spontaneous labour. Good luck I hope you find your answer.

The foley blood failed for me as my cervix was too soft so it kept falling out… ended up trying with the gel, but then ended in emergency c section as my boys cord was wrapped around his neck. It was pretty painful and not fun if I’m honest, but they did try like 4 times before deciding it wouldnt work for me!
