Is this positive test?!

Hi, I really need people’s opinions
i have PCOS but I am on strong medication and even though theyre irregular, I have a period every month with roughly a week delay. I noticed I was over 3 weeks late & was cramping a lot, feeling sick, sore breasts. I did a Morrisons pregnancy test last night just to rule it out (I really didn’t think I could ever get pregnant as my condition is so bad like im talking a beard) but when I read the test I saw the faintest second line. Is this positive? It’s extremely faint but I can see it’s a really light pink, not white or chalky at all. Of course the test may be faulty but I wanna know people’s opinions especially if you’ve had a test that looked like this and was expecting!

My positive test was sososo faint you could hardly see it (I did it early). It's hard to see from the lighting on this photo, can you take another? Looks negative at the moment but mYbe irl you can see a faint second line?

Try a different brand. I had a few fault Morrisons tests in the past. Good luck!

I do see what you are talking about but I’ve also had this on a Morrisons test but negative on FR, CB and IC. Please try another brand as I would trust Morrisons at all

i do understand people that say negative as it’s very faint!

It's v light for a 5 week test but I think that can be normal for some. Either way I'd contact Dr for a test. Did you do this first thing in the morning?

@ThisSnugLion it was actually done in the evening! & yeah extremely light but tbh i do have irregular cycles x

If you are 3 weeks late on your period you’d be roughly 7 weeks pregnant and your test should be much darker if it’s positive. Most people get a positive by 4 weeks or even earlier. But obviously if you’re irregular you might be earlier on than that. But normally if you have high enough HCG to cause lots of symptoms it should be high enough to show on a test. As others have said you do get tests that show lines that aren’t real positives. You can get evap and indent lines or where the dye has run leaking into the line. I’d use a digital test to get a clear answer.

Hi from my past experience I’ve tested positive on Morrisons test twice and both have been false positives. I would try Ovum as they are more reliable and also more sensitive.

Sorry op, when I've tested at 3/4 weeks they've been very dark, just like the test line.

Maybe retest with a different brand and see if you get a stronger line

That's positive. If you're not sure of when you ovulated then you could be very early, hence the faint line. Only way to tell is to take another test after 24-48 hours!
