EWCM since 7DPO during TWW?

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone else has had this. It’s probably normal and I’m just overthinking! TTC after a miscarriage 28/02, of which I had retained tissue. This passed during my first period 5/05 (confirmed via scan) however since then I still had some brown DC afterwards which I assume was my body sorting itself.

We have tried to start trying again, and I got a positive ovulation test 19/05 along with some pains so I’m pretty confident that I ovulated as had EWCM, albeit still tinged brown. The brown then started to lighten up and on the 27/05 I finally had normal coloured DC - yay! - then on the 29/05 I had EWCM which was light pink in the morning. Since then I have had untold amounts of EWCM which is all clear with the odd streak of blood in it. Far more than I had at ovulation. I thought I may have not ovulated and may be doing so now however all my OPK’s have been negative.

I did a pregnancy test today (I estimate to be around 10DPO give or take a day) which was negative, so I don’t think I’m pregnant.

I note that you had a secondary surge of estrogen so it could be that, however it says this only lasts a day or so then you should “dry up” so to speak.

I have no other symptoms other than very light cramping which again, I have had since 29/05 when I noticed the pink. They do feel slightly stronger now but not at pre-AF strength if that makes sense. Slight backache. My app says I should be due on on Wednesday.

I do believe I am likely to see AF arrive in the next few days, but would appreciate anybody’s stories as to whether this is normal or likely to be some sort of hormone imbalance?

Thank you for reading and replying :)
