Has anyone tried Maternity Accupressure to start labour off?

Just wanted to know if it had been tried and tested?

I tried reflexology and acupressure but it wasn't specifically by a maternity practioner. Oh and it didn't work for me. But then nothing did - no amount of poking or drugs was getting DD out of me. She was finally evicted out the catflap at 43+7

Mind you the reflexology brought on some wicked Braxton Hicks so maybe if I had been in any way ready to give birth it would have helped.
