Birth opinions

I am having a 3rd baby likely in the next 4 weeks. My 2 previous births were vaginal. I have history x2 retained micro product which caused big clots around 2 weeks after delivery and last birth I bled quiet heavily from 4cm dilation to delivery. I am 50/50 on if to ask for a c section this time or do vaginal but ask for a scan afterwards. They are aware of my history but it is down to me to decide and just wondering other people's thoughts on what youd do this time?

Have you had/been offered a meeting with the consultant midwife to discuss the pros and cons of both options? That might help
