I have missed my period so took a test. The line came up instantly and dark…. Could I be pregnant ?

Is there meant to be a vertical line making a cross if pregnancy is detected? What do the instructions say?

A positive test would normally have a cross in the window. Have a look invthe instructions and see what it says

That's a negative test, it's meant to be a cross in the first window.
