Tips for trying to conceive at 41 for a second baby

Any tips for getting pregnant. I'm 41 with a just 2 year old. I want to have another one as being older parents it would be lovely for them to have a sibling. I also would love another.

I am only now starting to feel like myself. I didn't have any issues but being a parent really threw me and changed everything about myself.

So with being ready now.
I used preseed with my 1st & got pregnant 1st time round which I'm not sure if it was a coincidence.
I heard a cough medicine works too as it helps the cervical mucus.
Is there anything that worked for you?

I used agnus castus. I think weight plays a big part,
so put on a little if underweight and lose if a bit overweight. Guafenisin (from some cough meds) certainly seemed to make more CM but not sure it helped me personally

Hey, I'm the same as you, 41 with a 2-year-old (and got pregnant first time).

I took Ubiquinol (the more expensive form of CoQ10), Proceive supplements (again more expensive than other conception supplements, can you spot a theme here 😅) choline inisitol and high strength folic acid. I had an early loss and am very early pregnant again.

I'm the same weight as when I got pregnant with my 1st. I will see how I get on with all your tips. I read a small dose of aspirin can help too? So bizarre.

One thing I would suggest, and please don’t let me stress you. But if it hasn’t happened for you in a few months, go for checks earlier rather than later. We diligently tried for a year, then had checks and found a problem which was caused by previous birth, and I’ll not get pregnant naturally now. I’m cross with myself for wasting that whole year that we just don’t have in our 40’s!
