Is it possible to get SPD for the 1st time in 3rd pregnancy? In 3rd trimester?

Probably stupid question but am a bit mystified. I've just got lower pelvic pain and back ache when I walk this week. Getting worse, am about to take a cocodamol in fact .

Yes that's when I got it. The best treatment is rest, no lifting, no carrying, go up the stairs on your bum, pack of frozen peas on your pubic bone.

yes, i got it 3rd trimester of 4th pg. most pain was right at the front of pelvis, made it very hard to get out of a chair. DO NOT use a pg ball, that was my biggest mistake!

I got it early in pregnancies, from about 12 weeks.
Be careful getting in and out of bed, my pubic bone used to crack - sounded like a pistol shot!
Had to go to physiotherapy in the end, and the nurse fitted me with a huge white velcro belt that fitted under the bump. The relief was incredible, because it stopped my pelvic bones from shifting around.
My doctor was crap. He said that he hadn't known about the belt thing. He prescribed me boxes of co-codamol which didn't help, and only made me constipated. Not a good feeling to have in a fragile pelvis.
The good news, my pelvis tightened up in only a few weeks after the births.

I have got the same thing in 3rd trimester and it's my 2nd pregnancy.

Absolutely crap, only 37 weeks and want it over and done with....when the cramp and pain comes in the pelvic and groin area I have to hold myself up sometimes otherwise I'd collapse!

No more children for me, thats a promise.

I know, I'm trying really hard to be grateful for getting it this late (32wks) in my last ever pregnancy. Have only had it since Friday (poss Thursday but had gastric issues that day too so all a bit confusing) so hoping there is still a chance it may randomly vanish by schoolrun tomorrow. Pain is low, central, front and back, kind of a matching pair of pains on walking.
