When were you given your induction date for 39 weeks?

I will be being induced at 39 weeks (obviously unless baby comes earlier) at what point did people get a date for induction? I'm 31 weeks now so not expecting it any time soon but just out of interest 😊

I was due to be induced at 39 weeks and I didn’t get the date until a week before

I was due to be induced at 38 weeks. At 36 weeks my health was pretty poor so my OB said we would move the induction up to 37 weeks and discuss it at my 37 weeks check up at 37+3. As it happened my health declined further. I had blood results that came back at 36+6 and I was asked how soon could I get to the hospital. There wasn't room to induce me that day so they did a sweep and had me back in the following day for induction.

Be prepared that you might not get the date until quite close to the induction date

Oh it sounds like everything happened very last minute for you @Superscientist !
How did you find the induction? X

@feelingsuperlucky it was fine, my body responded positively to the induction and whilst it wasn't the same as my almost idyllic water birth I had with my eldest it was straightforward and the slightly hairy moments were unrelated to the induction process and more due to my health and babys position - he went into distress as the cord was wrap around his neck and I was struggling with extreme fatigue
