private scans in Yorkshire

Any one know where I can have a private scan in the York area, i have had an early scan at 8 weeks, but they won't let me have another one till 20 weeks which is far too long for me to wait!

Hi, I'm from York and i went for a private scan at 12 weeks at the Leeds Screeing centre in Leeds. It cost about £70 for a dating scan and 100 pounds for a nuchal fold (which i had). There is a place in Poppleton, which i can't remember the name on but if you google it on the internet it comes up, but i remember their prices were quite a bit more. Good luck x

I've also been to the Leeds Screening Centre for a dating/reassurance scan as well as a Nuchal scan. I'd definitely recommend them.

I think the Nuffield hospital in Leeds also does scans but I haven't been there.

I agree it's far too long to have to wait between 8 and 20 weeks without a scan! I was in the same situation where I had a scan at EPADS because of a bleed at 9 weeks and they cancelled my "official" 12 wk dating scan, but I'd already decided to do the private nuchal scan anyway. Good luck!
