Positive pregnancy test after coming off the pill, but dates seem confusing

please can anyone help me.. I feel like I’m driving myself crazy 😩

for context - came off the pill after years of being on it end of Feb. Had what I think was my first period 22nd April and my LH test came up as ovulating 4th May which would make me about 8dpo today. Randomly tested on the 8th (4dpo) and came back to my shock, positive! See first two photos (single strips)

since then I have been testing daily, the lines are getting only slightly darker but are still what I think are faint. Is this normal? Could it be because I’m still early? But then not sure if my days add up cos surely can’t test positive on 4dpo 🫣😖 however they don’t see to be getting fainter/disappearing. I’m so confused! thank you

Probably best to get a dating scan done. Unless you were using a barrier method for the whole time between coming off the pill and 22nd April (and even if you were as there's always a failure rate) it is perfectly possible for you to have got pg weeks earlier and 22nd April bleeding wasn't actually a period.

However, it's important to understand that the way pregnancy terms are calculated, you are deemed to be 2 weeks pregnant at the moment of conception. It is not possible to be less than 2 weeks pregnant although some tests won't pick up sufficient hormones during very early days.

Stop doing pregnancy tests, you aren't going to get any new information from them.

Congratulations Flowers

I think you ovulated a few days earlier than you thought, given the digital test has the 1-2 week measurement. Congratulations!!!
