Anyone had a successful first trimester pregnancy while taking Carbimazole?

Hello,
I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant on Carbimazole (a very low dose of 2.5mg). I am fully aware of potential side effects.
Firstly I know that ideally I need to switch onto PTU, but waiting for the Dr to get back to me.
So really I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance, has anyone had a successful pregnancy whilst being on Carbimazole in their first trimester?

Hi, yes I had a successful pregnancy on carbimazole. Like you said I did switch to PTU for the first trimester then back to carbimazole from the second on. I was then consultant led because of Graves Disease, which was actually nice to have the extra monitoring and growth scans for baby etc. No complaints, everything was fine, good luck :) x
