When was your C-section scheduled?

If you had an elective C-section, when was it booked? I'm 33 weeks and if I understood correctly it will only be scheduled after my 36 week growth scan as depending on how well baby's growing it can be either at 37 weeks or 39 weeks. Just wondering about other people's experiences.

When they were booked or when they actually happened?

Sorry, just realised I didn't phrase question quite right, I'm wondering when you were informed of the date, not when they happened!

Booked at 36 weeks apt with surgeon, for 39w. Date changed by 1 day at the final check apt due to scheduling

Mine were booked for 38 weeks and took place as scheduled.

Booked in for 39+2. All went to plan.

Booked about week 33 for week 39. Was seeing the consultant every other week for checks on DS. He came out healthy!

Mine was booked in at 29 weeks at my VBAC appointment. Ill be exactly 39 weeks (she said thats the standard if there are no complications)

Mine was booked at my 20 week scan, I wasn't expecting to know that early, last time I didn't find out the day until a week or so beforehand.

Mine was booked at 20 weeks.. for 39 weeks gestation, just been diagnosed with GD so it may come forward!!

Booked on my 39th week to be born at 40 weeks, exactly 7 days to the date. Even though I was told throughout my pregnancy it would be scheduled for the 39th week they for some reason have booked me in for my actual due date.

Thanks everyone. An update, I've just had my C-section booked at 33 weeks for 39 weeks. Wasn't expecting it at the appointment today, and it still might change if any issues with growth at 36w scan. But doctor said best to book it now as slots fill up quickly.

Mine was booked in at my 36 week appointment to happen at 39 weeks.

Baby was growing fine just in a weird position (transverse), and after previous unplanned section, so didn't have any variable factors that would have effected what gestation it needed to happen.
