Self referral to north Middlesex hospital yet still waiting appointment

I applied like nearly over 10 days now and I still don’t have a midwife nor do I have a dating scan appointment, I’ve tried to call them many times but doesn’t go through as the robot states they are receiving high volumes of calls. Don’t know if this is normal process to take this long but from my experience it’s never happened or taken this long

Im not in Middlesex but im 13w and still haven't had an antenatal appointment or dating scan yet at my hospital.

flipping hell really that’s not correct.. I don’t even have a assigned midwife.. I finally got through to them and they said they are back tracked and tomorrow someone will be going through the referrals I was like this ain’t fair or good

@Gege11 its shocking isnt it. Your booking appointment should be around 10 w tho so I imagine it will take place soon.
Im diabetic and really raging I haven't been referred to my antenatal diabetic team. Ive had to be referred to another hospital which means my first antenatal and scan which was supposed to be at 14.5w has now been cancelled today and I have to wait for a new appointment with another hospital

Wow that is such a mess, like I think they don’t understand how stressful it makes us feel.. like we just want to smooth sailing pregnancy and sometimes I feel they make it harder when they are not doing things correctly which then causes us to stress out. I do hope the best for you and please don’t stress which is easier said than done @VioIetMoon
