What’s the concern?
if these antibiotics have been prescribed by a GP for an infection take them

Nitrofurantoin is specifically recommended as very safe in early pregnancy. Trimethoprim can affect the development of of the nervous system in the first trimester and so avoidedBUMPS

It’s more dangerous to have an untreated uti in pregnancy than to take the antibiotics.

I have long term bladder issues and took daily cefalexin throughout both my pregnancies, no issues whatsoever.

Im 13 w and had to take antibiotics due to absess at 9 w. Then developed a uti as a result of antibiotics 😢.
Some antibiotics are safe and others not, your gp would have prescribed you a pregnancy safe antibiotic

I had to take a week course of antibiotics at 8 weeks pregnant for a UTI. My now 3 year old is absolutely fine. Much more risk to have a UTI than take pregnancy safe antibiotics 😊.
