Just thought I would recommend homeopathy as an alternative to everyone who is sick of glugging the gaviscon!
I have been using it for bad morning sickness for weeks but just happened to mention it to my homeopathist this week and she gave me a remedy for it. I went from incredibly painful heartburn - brought tears to my eyes and often made me physically sick - to virtually nothing. If I do get a bit its manageable - painful but nothing as extreme. I was unable to take gaviscon or any other tablet as it triggered my sickness and I was immediately sick so such a relief.
I wish I knew the name to tell you - I will ask her next time I see her - but I think there are a number of different remedies and ideally you need a trained homepathist to "match" it to your symptoms and general health etc. Have to say it has been fantastic.
