I am so worried that something has gone wrong with my pregnancy. No symptoms of anything, its all in my head! I had my dating scan last Tuesday & that put my mind at ease for about 2 days & now back to panicking.
I was exactly the same with my first pregnancy & was hoping to enjoy this one abit more.
Can anyone relate? Any advice?

I would like to start telling older child & close family but don't feel like I can in case something is wrong!

Have you talked to your midwife about this? I know our local team can refer for urgent mental health support and if you could get some CBT sessions that would really help. Alternatively, does you or your partner’s employer offer CBT via any sort of employee support package. Failing that, you could see someone privately.

OP I felt exactly the same - it's such a weird time where you're not really showing, the sickness has worn off but it's too early to start feeling movement.

You've just got to remember that the odds are in your favour really.

Do you want to find out the sex? You could book a private scan around 16 weeks for that and it would bridge the gap between now and the anatomy scan. I found that very helpful, and also a good way to share the news with my older kids because they can come too :)

Yes i can certainly relate.
Im currently 13 weeks , and my last scan was a week ago and I almost booked a scan today but then woke up with a headache so slept on. Ive got my first dating scan in a week and a half but I dont know if I can wait, those feelings of dread like something is wrong just consume you.
Have you had any past loss?
I think my anxiety stems from a very lengthy infertility struggle, a miscarriage but i conceived again through ivf with my son but then i suffered 3 miscarriages this past year trying for number 2.
I cant really offer you any advice , I haven't rereceived any advice regarding support from my midwife regarding my anxiety other than telling me to stop worrying which really doesnt help
