I have pcos and am on metformin my last mp was 24th March to 1st April and I could’ve ovulated late due to the pcos I believe the last time I had s*x was the 10th April I received my first very faint positive on the 3rd may and this is my test today 8th may my urine was quite diluted but still very dark I have been seeing a progression in the lines but slow has anyone had this before
( I do not have a midwife assigned yet and I have asked my go for 48hr blood test but they told me the won’t request forms as I have positive urine test)
this Is my test today 8th may 5 days since first very faint positive

If you last has sex 10th April you should be getting definite lines by now. That’s really patchy and incomplete. Have you used the same brand each time?
I think you should maybe use a digital and see what that says. 🤞🏻

Thankyou it’s actually a lot more of a solid pink line on person and is darker than what this picture is showing aha it’s just my rubbish camera, I will try a digital

Were you tracking your ovulation at all?

I have a very similar timeline to you, in a sense, as my last period was also 24th March, but I know for a fact that I ovulated late on cycle day 30 (22nd April) which currently puts me 18DPO. I got my first very faint positive at 10DPO (2nd May).

I was definitely panicking over line progression the past day or two, but have just had a VEPA (very early pregnancy assessment) & the sonographer reassured me a line is a line & that I need to stop stressing over the darkness of it. So long as there is a line, you’re pregnant at that moment in time. I know it’s such an anxious stage. As other poster said, definitely try a digital if you can get your hands on one.

Sending you all the luck from one PCOS girlie to another!

*My phone just refreshed & I’ve seen you did a digital! Yay! Fingers crossed!

Hiya thankyou so much for your reply and congratulations :)
I wasn’t tracking my ovulation but have been on metformin since January so my ovulation has only just started coming back so I was told by the gp that it was likely much later than usual, I had fairly heavy bleeding on the 22nd - 26th April which timing wise I’m presuming was implantation which after reading online it says is typically normal with pcos as the lining is a lot ticker I had my first eye squinter on the 3rd may and it was much more noticeable on the 4th on the 6th I took another and it was a clear strong positive but I have not noticed much of a change since, a couple of test have been darker when ive done them later in the day as it must have been more concentrated, but today i took the digital and had a pregnant 1-2 weeks which does line up with dates but just not sure on why they’re not getting darker like they did I’m my previous pregnancy
