Maternity wear

Does anyone know of any shops that sell maternity wear IN STORE? everything’s online and I’m fed up of ordering and sending back. I just want to try stuff on in a shop! But it seems like all the maternity clothes are online.

You may have some luck at the big shopping centres (I'm in Kent and I'd try Bluewater) but it's such a tiny proportion of the market that shops don't find it worthwhile keeping it in stock.

I remember getting things from H&M in store but not sure whether they still do it now. I mostly stick to Vinted, at least it's cheap and if it doesn't fit I can just sell it on

I bought 4 maternity dresses to grow into and that’s it 😂 figured I’d only be wearing them for a few months and no one is judging the pregnant lady by how she dresses.

Thanks everyone, I’m in the north so I might try the Trafford Centre, they have a big H&M. I’m quite short so not a massive fan of the ‘floaty dresses’ I tend to look like a big triangle haha!

I just bought bigger tshirts/dresses in-store and only got jeans online.

Also just avoid H&M online, I found their stuff so flimsy I sent most of it back! The jeans were good but everything else (tshirts, cardigans) was really poor quality. I like Next online (and yes it's a lot of JoJo stuff and yes a lot of stripes!).

Vinted is good for maternity too if you can't find any shops selling in store

No, nowhere does maternity clothes in store anymore. There was recently a social media campaign about it.

people will comment saying there are, but they are referring to previous years.

currently the only place stocking maternity clothes in store is selected jojomaman Bebe stores and their clothes are frump central 😂

I’ve even noticed that next and m&s don’t really make their own mat clothes… they just stick seraphine/jojo. It’s the most irritating thing ever.

The only shop I managed to find that sells maternity in store was H&M. Sad isn't it? I actually got given a tonne of maternity wear by a local mum. When I asked this same question on our neighborhood news board. Might be worth checking if there's one for your local area.

Only Jojo Maman Bebe near me. There used to be a Seraphine in London - maybe Marylebone? - but I'm not sure if it's still there as I understand Seraphine is now owned by Next.
