Hey, I was wondering if anyone has been diagnosed or in the situation of being pregnant with some form of PAS as well as being diabetic?

  • What is/was your delivery plan?
  • Did/do you need to deliver before 35 weeks and what was the outcome?
  • Any aftercare info?
  • How many C-secs did you have prior to this one?
  • Was/will a hysterectomy be required?
  • Where did/will you go for delivery?

So sorry for the many questions, just casually going out of my mind as last baby was delivered at 32 weeks due to diabetes and now I have diabetes and PAS.

TIA x

I didn't have diabetes but I did have accreta (I believe it was classed as incretta because there was some bladder attachment as well)
C section was done at 34 weeks and went very smoothly with a much smaller than expected blood loss. I didn't need a hysterectomy or even a blood transfusion although they did give me back some of my own blood during the section. This was my 5th section.

I was originally booked in at one London Hospital but care was transferred to UCH where I had my baby.
My baby had an extended Nicu stay but that was mostly due to health complications that we were aware of from early on in the pregnancy.
