Low PAPP A PREGNANCY

This is my 2nd successful pregnancy (already have a toddler) after 2 early losses last year. I found out today 14+3 that results from my bloods done at 12+5 show I have low PAPP A. I’d never heard of this but I have severe health anxiety and I had a few fears and developing pre eclampsia was one and now I feel like I’ve brought it to life 😭 my results say a number like 0.341, looking for some reassurance in the probability of things going bad and other people that have had the same, is this just something minor that just needs to be monitored because of the risks it can possibly cause? How can I see it differently to help settle my mind. What’s the likelihood of these risks now

I had this with my first and it caused no issues at all, the midwife put me on aspirin and I got to have extra growth scans, they said it can cause a low birth weight but all of the scans were good, I think I had one every month which was nice. Never caused an issue the entire pregnancy, I had a pregnancy after that I didn’t have low Papp a or any other known issues and I sadly had a still birth. Please don’t worry

I had this with my second with very similar numbers to you, he was born after a spontaneous delivery at 39 plus five and weighed eight pounds and is perfect. I think they only started testing for this on the last ten years or so and I think the closer you are to four the less likely there are to be any adverse effects

Thank you and I’m really sorry to hear about that, I hope you’re doing okay
