Hi, I’m 36+5 today. I’m not sure if my waters have been leaking for 2 days now not sure weather to go in to be told it’s nothing or does this look like how anyone else’s waters broke?

I’d go to your pregnancy assessment unit. They worry about infections after a certain point.

Mine didn’t break so I’m not sure what they looked like but if you are worried go and get checked. They won’t mind at all.

I don’t understand why you’d risk it? It’s been 2 days - go in woman!!

You should definitely go and get checked. They don't always go with a flood and if there is any small rupture of your membranes there is risk of infection.

You definitely need to get that checked out.

However, if it reassures you, both my DC were born after my waters broke at 36 weeks. (And both fit and healthy and strapping young adults now!)

Put a pad on and go in and get checked!! I wouldn’t risk it because if
you don’t go into labour soon you are high risk for infection and they’ll want to give you antibiotics or get things moving!

but just to say one of my kids was born at 36 weeks and one at 35 both perfectly fine!!
