24 weeks pregnant with twins, possible OA TOF in one baby

Hi im 24 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins (boy and girl). At my 20 week scan they noticed the boy babys belly was measuring a week or so ahead so was sent for a glucose tolerance test. This came back ok. I had a scan on Tuesday at 23 weeks and 3 days and the boy twin was measuring on track except for his belly circumference which was now measuring at 29 weeks (everything else around 23 weeks) I also had polyhydramnious with him. I had to go see a consultant after the scan who wanted to scan me again. The baby boys stomach was very small. So the consultant suspects the oesophagus isn't connected to the babies stomach so he cannot swallow and so may need surgery post birth to survive. I am going to the fetal medicine unit on friday for a detailed scan of the boy and hopefully will have some more awnsers.
I have been reading up on oa/tofs and obviously its very scary not just post birth but also raising a child with tofs.
Has anyone been through this situation or could give me any advise on what its like having a child with oa/tofs
Xx

Hi OP, I was born with TOF and OA back in the 80s. Happy to try and answer any questions from my perspective, if it would help :)

I have cared for babies on SCBU with this. Also DS had a friend with this (fixed obvs) in primary school.
