Worried about pregnancy test line progression between 17 and 21 DPO

I know I know I shouldn't have tested again. Had decent line progression and stopped testing. Still had one test leftover and tried again this morning.

Top test was from Saturday 17dpo and bottom is 21dpo. Both from first morning urine. Shouldn't the bottom one be a lot darker than the top test by now?

I've had miscarriages before so I'm very anxious even though there is nothing I can do.

This looks normal to me: the tests are probably as dark as they can get so aren't going to get darker indefinitely.

I totally understand the anxiety: I've been pregnant after a loss before and was worried on a daily basis, so no judgment. Please do step away from the tests, they're not helping x

I understand the anxiety too but that to me is a very clear positive so much so that you may not see much line progression now. I had a chemical pregnancy and the lines got noticeably lighter every day. Best advice (easier said than done) is to stop testing now. Congratulations xxx

Thank you both for being so gentle. I got myself in a bit of a state this morning. Got a busy few days coming up and hoping it will distract me. I know there is nothing I can do but take it a day at a time

I asked my poor DH to get a FRER pack for an experiment. First one is first morning urine for 21-22dpo. Doesn't look good

Below is when I diluted it with water. Back to a (mild) dye stealer.

Now officially stopping testing. I still don't have a good feeling about where this is heading but there is evidence of a hook effect now so I'm just going to have to wait.

I would have said they also look fine to me strong lines for sure, could you not ask to get bloods done or maybe book a private scan just for a peace of mind?

I've got a referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic to get on the same treatment course as my one successful pregnancy. Hoping to hear from them today and book in a scan for 7 weeks. If they put me on progesterone they usually do an early scan as the progesterone will mask a miscarriage.

I just have a bad feeling. But either way I should know in a couple of weeks.
