Progesterone result at 8 or 9 dpo: low or mistimed?

Hi was wondering if you could help me with interpreting some progesterone results. I got referred for blood tests by my doctor after trying for a while with no success apart from 2 chemical pregnancies in a row last year. I had the blood tests on 24th last week which would have made me 8/9 dpo. The results were 13.0 nmol/L. After reading some other threads I’ve come to realise that this test should be carried out on 7dpo. Is this result low or was it done too late? Sorry if this is obvious - new to all this stuff! i had these tests done 18 months ago. It’s usually 7 DPO but it can stretch out to 8 or 9 as some women will reach day 7 say on a Saturday, but will have to wait until the Monday to have the test done. My consultant explained you can have the test one day early, but two days later.

You would be looking for a result of 20+ to confirm probable ovulation with 30+ being a definite

@Lauren0902 thanks so much for replying. So does this mean I’m not ovulating? I use the ovulation tests and always get a positive on those and my periods are fairly regular mostly ranging from 21-28 days. Sometimes my luteal phase is short though. It’s all so confusing!
