TMI - mucus plug or just discharge?

So I am 32+1 with my third pregnancy (2nd to get this far) and earlier felt quite 'damp'.

Went to the toilet to check and saw I've got more discharge than usual (photo attached(. I think it is just discharge but am now doubting myself as I'm getting mild period like pains (which I have been having on/off since 26 weeks). There's no particular pattern to them at the mo or at least not one I can notice.

What would everyone else say this is? Discharge or plug?

Whilst it is my third pregnancy i never had this with my first (only living child) as I was induced due to pre-eclampsia so I have no idea what I'm looking at 🤣

Looks like normal pregnancy discharge to me. I have way more than this daily! 31 weeks with my second.

As always, get checked out properly if you're worried.

Think that's just normal discharge. Your mucus plug is different and I think you'll know it when you see it. Mine started coming away in bits at 34 weeks and I knew as soon as I saw it. If you're worried though, worth getting checked.

Thank you both! I did think it was more likely discharge but started to question my sanity. Should have added that i was waiting for triage to come back to me after I sent them a photo (at their request, I'm not that weird 🤣) and they also said discharge.

Cramps settled down quickly and all back to normal now aha.
