I'm wondering if anyone can share their stories positive and negative regarding slow embryo development.
A little about our story, we had artificial insemination on the 7th March, ovulated later than expected on the 12th March, we didn't think anything of it and assumed we had missed our chance that month. 12dpo on the 24th March we had a positive test!
We went for an early scan that showed only a sac measuring 5weeks 5 days 10mm and nothing inside only a potential small yolk sac.
Went back at 7 weeks and sac had grown to 17mm but she couldn't see a yolk sac or fetal pole, referred us to our local hospital.
Had an appointment today where I wanted to discuss how to end the non viable pregnancy and they can see a very small fetal pole 2mm, a yolk sac and the sac was measuring 21mm. no heatbeat.
They said it is very very slow developing and about 2 weeks behind so prepare for this to be non viable but based on guidelines they can't confirm non viable yet. I need to go back next Tuesday for another scan.
Feels like so much waiting for heartbreak!
Does anyone have any stories they can share, I am fully convinced this is non viable and have prepared myself but it would be interesting to get others thoughts, Dates can't be wrong as I tracked to within an inch of my life lol thankyou to anyone that responds 💗
