Pregnant with baby no.2 name help!!

Hi

Im due very soon with baby no 2, this time a girl and we still aren’t 100% set on a name. Throughout the pregnancy we keep coming back to Eliza but then suggesting other names so are still undecided. The most recent one that my husband is set on is Etta which I do love so feel it is between that and Eliza but we are undecided. Big brother is called Archie and his favourite name throughout has been Eden.

I think you've got a beautiful selection of names and all match nicely with Archie! I found with my DCs, I had a couple of names in mind and then it depended on what they looked like once they'd arrived that decided it. It always surprised me that my babies looked slightly different to how I imagined (part of the magic though right?!). I'm imminently due DC3 (DD1) and my DS1 is set on a particular name that we're probably not going to go with, but we're thinking we might use it as a middle name as a meaningful memory (and it's a nice name!). I know Etta is having a moment, but to me it looks like the end of a name (Henrietta, Georgetta etc) so I would always assume it was short for something.

I quite like Evie, a friend named her daughter that and I thought it was cute and slightly different.

I love Eliza, and Mila.

Or Cassiopia, I would name my next girl that ( here's hoping ! ).

Eliza is lovely. Not keen on Etta!

We had Eliza, Lyra and Emmie on our list for dd2 and chose one of those along with middle name Nora.
We also liked Maisie, Adalyn (Addie), Lydia (Liddie), Hallie and Connie. Our first dd is named one of those with middle name Skye.

I like Etta but where we’re from, no one pronounces their ‘t’s so it was no no!

How about Edie/Eadie ?

similar to Eden but I feel same sort of vibe as your other names

Eliza is a proper name. Eden is a mythological garden and a river. Etta is not a proper name to me. If you like Etta, why not Ina, Ottie, Ide, Ora etc.
