How do you self refer to NHS to a specific hospital for cervical cerclage (due to previous cervical cerclage)?

For me, it was a case of the pre term consultant at my home hospital writing a referral letter to the consultant at another hospital who had a special clinic for it. My home hospital were woefully inexperienced and happy to write the referral for the other hospital.

All my antenatal care still had to happen at my home hospital though as that was the closest.

@MarG88 i gratefully followed @KittyFantastica ’s advice about 15 weeks ago, my consultant wrote a letter explaining what was up and how they’d tried to treat it but couldn’t, and I emailed this to the team I wanted to try a different kind of stitch. Was amazed they were so willing to help.
