Can I call the EPAU at 5 weeks 5 days or do I have to be 6 weeks? I’ve previously been under assisted reproduction unit for 2 years and my Dr informed me if I fall pregnant naturally (supposed to be signing IVF funding forms on Wednesday at a different clinic I’ve been at since January!!) that he wants me at the EPAU at 6 weeks for a scan and progesterone as I’ve had 3 previous miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy.

Unsure if I can call them now or if I have to wait unit dot on 6 weeks to book in as guidance online says from 6-14 weeks

thanks!

I'd call them now, they don't usually scan until 6+ weeks, but it's normally a few days wait for a scan anyway so phone up and get on the list

Thank you! My ARU actually rang me back from me falling them on Thursday funnily enough. Hoping to get me in end of the week on Monday!

You could book an appointment now for a few days. My epu won't see you or give progesterone until after 6 weeks when they will scan you

Ooh good luck @LemonCheesecake95 :) my EPAS were supportive to the extreme in my current ivf pregnancy after 2 mcs. They were wonderful. Best of luck in the coming weeks 🌞
