Was diagnosed with PCOS in May 2023. Have irregular periods go about 3/4 months without one last periods were 1st - 6th February and then another one 25th - 29th March. I have been taking pregnacare vitamins and inositol (2 morning & 2 evening) for months along side omega 3. I have now been on metformin (advised by doctors) for roughly 4 weeks now on a dose of 3 tablets a day (morning, afternoon and evening). This months I have been doing ovulation tests aswell to track. see photo attached I had a high reading yesterday afternoon and then done another test in the evening and got a lower reading so did I actually reach my peak. Yesterday I had cramping on my right side on and off all day. Is it normal to get a high reading (peak) and then get a low reading just a few hours later. Me and my partner have had sex every other day leading up to predicted ovulation (flo app) and then Friday and Saturday.

Yep totally normal. That's why it's recommended to test twice a day as otherwise it's very easy to miss as for some women (me included) it goes from baseline to peak to baseline within about six hours.

Thank you @Pugglywuggly just done another one now and this was my reading so don’t know if my test early did not have strong enough LH level in. So don’t officially know if I have had my peak yet.
