Negative tests after missing mini pill but having pregnancy symptoms

Just need advice.

As per my last post, I didn’t take my pill (mini pill) for 2 weeks and 2 days. (Stupid I know). Which means obviously me and my partner had lots of unprotected sex. My GP said to just take weekly tests, however, so far they are negative. But I have every single symptom of early pregnancy. I’ve been pregnant before (didn’t get to keep it long story) and the only time my boobs have been this big and painful was then. I can’t even wear a bra they hurt so bad. I don’t really know what to do. Help?

It’s likely your body had reacted to stopping the pill and then restarting? I had to stop taking the pill for a few weeks and after I re started my boobs ached and my stomach felt round and I just felt pregnant it was so odd but the tests were negative and there was no medical explanation

It could just be your body reacting to stopping and starting the pill.

Usually, if you have pregnancy symptoms, then you'll be far enough along to get a positive test so I would guess you're not pregnant.

How long has it been since you had unprotected sex? If it’s been a couple of weeks and you’re still testing negative it’s unlikely you’re pregnant. As others have said it’s likely just your body getting used to fluctuating hormones - on and off and on the pill again. As a rule, if pregnancy hormones are high enough to cause symptoms they’ll be high enough to show on a test.
Even people trying to conceive and timing sex and ovulation don’t always fall pregnant easily. So even if you did ovulate while stopping the pill it’s only a 25% chance you’d get pregnant anyway. So as I said, probably you’re not pregnant.
