Bloated and fed up

Hello!
I'm currently 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my second child. This pregnancy has been awful so far.
Bloating, constipation, heartburn, reflux, burping etc ..
I feel nauseous at times but it's usually when I'm hungry.
I got told to come off my lanzoprazole and if I got bad to ask the dr for some omeprazole. Which I used to take but it stopped working for me so I don't think it would do very much!
It's either that or I keep going, feeling uncomfortable all the time and hope that it wears off.
I'm feeling so fed up. We decided not to tell anyone until we've had a scan but it feels like ages away! I'm half tempted to tell people so at least they'd understand why I'm feeling so miserable and uncomfortable lately. 😔 But then I'm worried that something will happen to baby. I think I feel like I'll jinx the pregnancy. Which is silly.

Anyway any advice on if I should go back on my meds?
Or if anyone has any thing that worked for them can you let me know. I'm just fed up. 😔

Edit. I've been taking gaviscon but it barely helps

Sorry to hear you are fed up OP. I’m a little further ahead than you at 16 weeks but have felt the same throughout. Does yours get worse throughout the day? By the evening I’m a complete bloated, exhausted, refluxy mess. I’m on omeprazole which takes the edge off at best but still having food coming back up all day. Have you tried a pro/ prebiotic? I went scouring Mumsnet threads for advice and stumbled across a post suggesting this for bloating and have found that I’m maybe less bloated after having taken it for a couple of weeks. I went with the Optibac probiotic that has good reviews. Also trying to eat earlier in the day but easier said than done with work etc! Hope you find something that eases things x
