Possible chemical pregnancy - Line progression

I found out I was pregnant on Sunday morning. We have been trying for 6 months for our 2nd child. We were obviously delighted! However, unfortunately I think it might be a chemical pregnancy. The line just isn't getting any dark and is so different to my line progression the first time. I feel a bit lost. Do I just wait now to see what happens? Should I try and get a doctor's appointment? I hate being in limbo like this. Any advice massively appreciated.

How many days post ovulation are you?

Unfortunately you can only wait, no point in seeing GP, they can't do anything. I only got a faint line at about 16 dpo, maybe you ovulated later than that. If you haven't got bleeding, assume it's OK!

How is everything?

Thanks for asking. I started bleeding on Saturday and it is ongoing but not excessive. I have to say I'm slightly relieved. It's the uncertainty and waiting I can't stand. Now I'm just waiting to see what happens with the next cycle!
