I’m freaking out
since Monday I’ve had faint lines on an early detection strip pregnancy tests, but the lines arent getting darker.
i had a mmc in February and I also tested early and the lines got darker each day.
im not due on till Friday so I know it’s still early.
im just freaking out, why can’t I be one of those women that have a positive test and be happy to be pregnant and wait till the 12 week scan.
every day I’m worried

I really feel for you. I had a “chemical” hate that work so much pregnancy in February and have just tested positive again. I’m terrified of having it happen again. The constant testing you’re doing is you trying to protect yourself because you want the reassurance things are going in the right direction. I’d really strongly advise forking out for private pregnancy monitoring and get bloods done instead of relying on strips. That way you’re already plugged in to receive support if something goes wrong. Not an expert but I heard only 1-2% of people have 2 chemicals in a row so the odds are in your favour. Sending you lots of luck x

Have you got any photos of the tests? Try comparing every other day not every day. Also have you tested positive on a digital (just in case the faint lines are nasty evaps or anything)

A scan won’t make the pregnancy anymore or less likely-it is just a waiting game I’m afraid. I did have a private scan at 9 weeks because we hadn’t been trying so had no idea of my dates, it was nice to see them but three hours later I was then back to worrying…

I completely understand your feelings! I had 2 losses and 2 rounds of IVF before getting pregnant, I also had 6 scans before 20 weeks for my own peace of mind!! The test looks darker which is a good sign, could you possibly book for bloods to monitor HCG levels? X

Our gp/midwife won’t do that in our area unless you’ve had 3 consecutive losses

The line looks like it’s getting darker to me. Mine weren’t Strong lines until a few days, maybe a week after I was due on my period x
