Confused by conflicting ovulation dates on Premom and Fertility Friend

Hiya everyone. Ttc with ovulation and bbt tracking and using Premom and ff. Premom is saying 8dpo but ff is saying 5dpo. My day 10 temp was 36.15 and was took 2 minutes after I got up as I forgot to take it when I woke up before getting up so do I leave that in there or delete it also which app is right because without that specific temp ff would still be saying 6dpo I am very confused I have attached both charts guys and had quite a few positive opk this month also my first month ttc. Never been diagnosed with PCOS and my cycles have always been regular so it is very confusing. I think it’s just a wait and see but my opk was negative this morning the line was still quite dark but deffo negative. I have had the faintest line on hpt but never got darker and can’t pick up on camera so deffo classing that as an indent. I’m confused because I deffo think AF is coming but it’s all these weird symptoms of one boob bigger which has never happened watery luminous yellow discharge but no infections the brown spotting before it’s just crazy haha but thank you for your help and I will keep updating 🥰

Just to update I don’t know what’s happening right now but I am getting quite a bit of watery yellow cm way more than before I have had a sore throat the last few days so not sure if that would mess with my bbt and I am cramping like hell and I am very dizzy today. It’s crazy because on the 11th April I actually fell over from dizziness and had major backache and stomach cramps so could have ovulated then but not sure as I’m not very good at reading these charts but just in case someone sees this and it helps. Wondering if AF will show up early as these cramps are really strong and pressurising. Usually get cramps after so a little odd but at least I won’t be in limbo and be on to the next cycle which will hopefully be easier than this weird crazy cycle 😂😂😂🥰

OMGmy temp has gone back up wasn’t expecting that one. I will attach chart now. Looking at my chart is there any chance I could have ovulated on the 11th April

Yep, so assuming today's temp is not a blip then it's looking more like a mid-luteal dip rather than impending AF. You can't be sure until you see tomorrow's temp. Mid-luteal dips are usually in the range of 6-10dpo. To be honest even knowing this I don't think you can even try to pinpoint ovulation day! It's an interesting chart for sure!

Once you've charted a couple more cycles and you get better at temping accurately, you might be able to understand this cycle better because you'll have a better understanding of what your body does and how that translates into temps. For example, I know how many units of alcohol I can drink before my temps are affected the next morning, and I know how many consecutive hours I need to sleep for for my temp to be usable. Everyone is different.

Thank you. Are you ttc? I have another symptom which is crazy so this is tmi but my boobs are bigger and misshaped one is bigger than the other. My fiancée noticed and the bumps around my nipples are different sizes. My fiancée also says that they’re veiny. It’s very weird because with my previous pregnancies they didn’t get bigger or affect me until 3rd trimester 🥰

Oooo congratulations. How many weeks are you? And I love doing bbt. And even ttc I’m just in the mindset of if it doesn’t happen this month I get to do it all again and all the googling the symptoms too 😂😂😂🥰

I'm 22 weeks so ages to go. Haha I know what you mean about wanting to try BBT again next cycle 😂 Hopefully you won't need to though!

Omg congratulations. Do you know if you’re having a little boy or girl? And is this your first? Well I think I am out. BFN this morning on clear blue and a temp drop to my Coverline. I don’t understand why my boobs have got way bigger 😂😂 they don’t usually so might be a doctors trip and I don’t know why I’m happier I am usually very moody for AF😂😂😂 Deffo feeling more disappointed than I thought I would be but it’s ok I will get to do it all again and keep updating 😂😂😂🥰

Also this is my chart with the bad temp added on day 10. Also when I do get up my temp doesn’t get higher it gets lower so if I had took the temp in bed and not got up for a minute it might have been slightly higher than the 36.15

Ahh yeah, you do have to be absolutely rigorous about taking your temp the moment you wake, or you'll never get a sensible chart 😂 Maybe this was a weird cycle anyway, who knows - we all have them.
This is my third child, so definitely no more after this one!

I do but it is hard to temp with a 12 month old haha and we have 4 children but our others are a lot older. Are all yours little. Our oldest is 20 and our youngest is 12 months 🥰

Awww it’s so cute when they’re little the house is so lively but when they’re older teenagers they just like to be in their bedrooms enjoy it lol and I am currently spotting feeling awful today but bbt went back up

Also this is without the bad temp still above coverline so confusing but if it goes into full flow at least I can take some ibuprofen as I feel rough as hell

It's a funny cycle alright. I don't think it matters if you have the odd dip below the cover line per se. The cover line is just to help you see your chart more clearly, rather than being something you absolutely have to stay above. I've definitely had the odd dip below the cover line and it hasn't meant anything.

So I started spotting and bleeding heavy assuming it is deffo period. My fiancée thinks I’m still preggers due to the fact that my other boob is huge now from the opposite that was bigger I’m actually getting concerned now because this has never happened other than being pregnant but on my period. Also my sense of smell I can smell the smallest pee from the cat litter tray 🤢 I will add my bbt chart it’s crazy that it’s not dropped below coverline yet. I’m on day 2 of bleeding so it’s out it on a separate sheet but still above previous cover line. But I’m actually concerned about my boobs I can’t feel any lumps also negative test so I don’t know what’s happening with them

Well I don't know anything about your boobs haha 😆 but sometimes my temp stays high until CD2 or so as well. I don't know why it's different every cycle but it can be.

Hopefully this new cycle will make more sense for you to chart!!

So to update I started my af. Not sure what the bigger boobs and everything was it was weird for me. I’m onto a new cycle and this is my chart so far I already think I’m out though I’m 4dpo and no cm which is weird as usually get to my af

Well it's a much better chart than last month anyway! At the moment ovulation is quite clearly CD12, so at least that will tell you more about your luteal phase length etc (if you don't get pregnant)!

Thank you for all your help I feel so wiped out it’s unreal. It’s so bizarre because I feel energetic so can’t be my iron but I just feel soooo wiped out and tired even going to sleep at 9.30pm and usually survive on a few hours of sleep thinking maybe the progesterone 🥰

Yeah that doesn't sound cycle related at all to be honest. Definitely something else stopping you sleeping. Hope it doesn't affect your BBT too much and you can still see a pattern 🤞

Omg really hoping it gets better for you. Do you have any other symptoms? I’m just getting a hell of a lot of cramping and sharp shooting pains and back ache but maybe the progesterone as my temps are pretty high but today as soon as I move my head it is spinning which will probs be progesterone too. I have added another chart pic and an overlay too 🥰
