I've waited ten years for my college reunion, and today I finally got the invitation through the post. I am due on 15th September. It's on 20th September. Bah!

I actually suspect I'll go relatively near my due date (it's a full moon and my periods were 28 days, which is supposed to make it more accurate) but I'll be annoyed if I go two weeks over and miss out. But then will I actually be annoyed or will I be too uncomfortable to move anyway? It'll involve a couple of hours on a train and an overnight stay.

Is it worth me saying I'll go if I haven't birthed by then or am I just being stupid and should accept I'll have to wait for the 20 year one, when I'm old and wrinkly?

Am I the new Edith Bowman?

I am 38 weeks and also have spd, although not as bad as gilly. I am avoiding anything that takes me too far away from the house. But with ds1 I was working up to 37 weeks, (a week before he was born) including commuting in and out of London and doing a science fair thing at the Albert Hall.

So it's hard to predict how you will feel. I'm sure they will forgive you if you accept provisionally, pointing out that you don't really know if you will be bursting with energy or collapsed on the sofa at that stage.
