Progesterone in previous pregnancy

Before having my youngest, I had a missed miscarriage. During that pregnancy I had spotting around 6 weeks, then we found out at 9 weeks baby had stopped growing a couple of weeks prior.

With my youngest, I had spotting again just before 6 weeks and after scanning me EPU allowed me to have progesterone (it was me that brought it up)

I'm now pregnant again, 6+2. I haven't had any spotting but should I automatically have progesterone in this pregnancy because I did in my last? I'm not sure how it works. I think I'd feel more comfortable but also aware they won't give it me for no reason. Think I'm getting myself worried something bad will happen if I don't have it. I probably just need to calm down 😂

I had it for both of my successful pregnancies, for me it wasn't even an option as in will I get it. I went to the doctor and asked for it. Would have paid privately if they said no, fortunately they didn't. I had an early scan and then got my prescription.

Phone your epu .
Ive had 6 pregnancies and the only one that went full term i was on progesterone.
I do have a history of low so for me I think progesterone is vital to carry a pregnancy.
If you have had a history of pregnancy loss or any bleeding in pregnancy nice guidelines state you should be offered progesterone.
Im pregnant again , currently 9 weeks, if all is well . My gp refused , even tho ive had so many loses and blood tests confirmed very low progesterone in previous tests but epu were happy to give once id had a scan at 6 weeks to confirm it was viable
